Conflation occurs when the identities of two or more individuals, concepts, or places, sharing some characteristics of one another, become confused until there seems to be only a single identity — the differences appear to become lost.[1] In logic Logic, from the Greek λογική is the art and science of reasoning. There are many different conceptions of what the field of logic comprises. How these notions relate to each other can sometimes be controversial. Logic is considered by some to be the study of the general features, or form, of arguments, as is studied in the sub-disciplines of, the practice of treating two distinct concepts There are two prevailing theories in contemporary philosophy which attempt to explain the nature of concepts . The representational theory of mind proposes that concepts are mental representations, while the semantic theory of concepts (originating with Frege's distinction between concept and object) holds that they are abstract objects. Ideas are as if they were one does often produce error or misunderstanding — but not always — as a fusion of distinct subjects tends to obscure analysis of relationships which are emphasized by contrasts.[2]
