I am getting 403 error when trying to load a web page desing with iweb on my geocities account. Any ideas?
Q. I simply created a stock page using one of the templates on my mac using iWeb. I tested it localy on my machine and it works great. A. 403 forbidden is a catch all for 'you are not permitted to go there' it could be a lot of different things. I've built a few sites with iWeb. But without the URL, it's really tough to give any advice. Where is the site? update: I went to the site, and got the page, it says 403... but not a real 403 it just says 403, because that's what's in the html file!!! edit the file to say "OOPS, I made a boo boo" and that's what you will see! A. Ok I am no computer genius but Awhile back my computer got a virus and my brother, who happens to be a computer genius installed a new web browser instead of internet explorer. Its called Mozilla Firefox. If you don't already have it, get it for sure.
