Q. Ok I'm looking for a new web browser. Currently I am using IE8. I know many have said that IE is the worst web browser but I am curious to know why. Give me some reasons why that is, greatly appreciate it. Right now i am deciding on the following: -Google Chrome -Safari -Opera -Firefox 2nd Alternatives: -Avant -K meleon -Netscape -Flock -Camera Shy I know that the first four are by far the most popular and reliable web browsers out of the others. Which 2 would be best and why?

A. Firefox has tons of addons that make browsing so much easier and more efficient. It is also extremely fast and very standards-compliant. It is a dream for web developers with tons of tools that make debugging web pages super easy. I highly recommend Firefox. Opera is the most standards-compliant and Chrome is right up there with Firefox. Safari has lagged behind the other 3, but it's definitely a huge step up from ie, which is by FAR the WORST browser of all. Check the links below. The Wikipedia links are charts that show each layout engine's features. Very useful for comparison and to see who's really the best. :) Don't bother with Netscape, it's dead. K-Meleon is a possiblity (I've used it and it's pretty nice) but development on it… [cont.]
